Brescia to Verano

Valentina makes the best coffee! Lemon Tree Restaurant in Lake Garda (Desenzano)

The day started well, planned 80km... My highlight was Valentina's coffee (two cups! ☕️☕️‼️)... Lake Garda was not exactly on my itinerary but I did a little detour. The ride was very nice, weather was great and I was riding well. I do not know what happened after...😉

It started with my first flat of this tour... just after seeing the first #Eurovélo7 sign since I arrived in Italy 🇮🇹

Then local riders suggested a shortcut to Verona... I ended up on my original itinerary after a 15km detour. My 80 km ride became a 95km one... So I decided to stop for a little food. After checking out four restaurants I ended up having a steak 🥩 😭

I arrived in Verona much later then planned but was greeted by Daniels from Welcome Verona - a fantastic host and he gave me tons of places to visit. I decided to stay an extra day in town to check out the wonders of this amazing city.
