March 2, 2025 - Day 8 of the Switzerland - Greece journey.

After the horrible rains of yesterday this was a maginificent ride under the Soleil de Provence. This morning I cleaned up my bike so this gave me a late start at 11h. I did take some time discussing life with Martine Brossard (not from Brossard! only someone from Quebec will understand) and Sangam, and feeding carrots to their beautiful horse, "Grace". This ride was unexpectedly fantastic. The views magnificent and hills pleasant and manageable. I stopped for coffee twice and made it so Manosque in great shape and high spirits. Sitting at the Au Grand Paris café restaurant I never expected such an amazing encounter with no other than former professional cyclist Bernard Richard! We talked about cycling with Bernard and his wife. What a charming and classy couple. I could not imagine a better evening!
