The 4,700km Eurovélo 6 from the Atlantic to the Black Sea is one of the flagship EV rides and probably the most popular with cyclists of all levels because it follows rivers and is therefore flat but also because of it is home to the famous Loire à Vélo in France (also known as la route des chateaux) that we have been riding with my better half Margo for years. This will be my first time riding the Danube section (from Basel to the source of the Donau and along the spectacular and glowing river all the way to Bratislava). I was disappointed and can't wait to do this again with Margo this time. My next contribution will cover this journey while I will provide some content and impressions from previous rides here. These pictures are from 2017 to 2019... We definitely need to revisit and see if anything changed! But first it will be the Danube section that I also want Margo to discover.
